    Good shooting angle, sharp and well exposed.

    From a comp. standpoint, I might crop in from the right a bit, and it certainly could work as a vertical as well.

    Was this with the new version of the 80-400?

    This was the old version of the 80-400. Even though it doesn't focus quickly or in low light it appears to be capable of sharp images. Since I was on a tripod I had VR turned off.

    There must be some movement as it is blurry around the body.
    Agree with Randy's assessment regarding the composition.

    I just went back to my metadata and saw that I did use a flash for fill set at -1 EV. The sun was just coming up and there wasn't a lot of light. I struggled with that 1/60th second exposure with a 400mm lens.
