Like the detail and the warm light. I'd go with a tighter crop that removes a bit of sky off the top and the OOF vegetation at the bottom. And I'd consider evening out the brightness of the two eyes.

Good suggestions from Doug. It is great to get such a nice close up of these guys, especially with the golden light.

Incredible close up shot of a raptor in sweet light. Love the hairdo and the intense look.

Agree with the crop suggestions. Good DOF from the tip of the beak on back. Great light and I love these bad-hair-day looks!

I'll be having bad dreams tonight now, those eyes are intense ! Like the golden warm light and blue backdrop to set it all off. I might suggest to brighten the RH eye a little to match the left

Very nice details on this Osprey, it compliments the warm light. Well done Stuart.

Nice close portrait of this one. I really like the wet looking head feathers. My suggestion would be to crop above the distracting oof vegetation on the bottom

On a quick look back, I don't see that anyone commented on the sky color. (Apologies if I missed it. Always in a hurry.) It's a little off, maybe just too saturated.
