    Tripod Canon 7D Canon 500mm f4 L IS ISO 400 1/1250 sec f4.
    Still having problems nailing the focus, dozens of shots apparently sharp but on 1:1 just not quite there, but this is getting closer.

    Hi Jon, Oh yes, seems like they are flying closer to you. I like the wing position, visible eye, and although the colours are probably as shot, I do like the 'sepia' finish to the overall image. Maybe moving him back in the frame wont harm.

    nice one Jonathan,better head angle than the other,agree on moving the bird back a bit in the frame.

    I like the sharpness, wing position and setting. I agree with above composition suggestions. Nice image Jonathan.
