    Default on the prowl barn owl

    Another barn owl,have not been able to get out with the camera lately,due to damaged knee,so it has to be another barn owl,comments goodor bad,F8,ISO800,1/2500S,CROPPED,SHARPENED,SOME HUE AND SAT,TRIPOD.

    Very nice Chris.
    I like where you have placed the owl in the frame and the colors. Nice and sharp.
    I would blend and smooth out the faint white line just above the owl's back.

    Nice light emphasizing the coloration and patterns on the wing. Perfect placement within the frame and I like that you were able to capture the catchlight I agree with Gail about the white line which I noticed right off the bat. Did you blur the background in post ?

    Hi Chris, the owl pops so well from the BG, and I like how the owl is scanning for his next meal. I like how the BG compliments the owl too.

    Nice shot overall, I would like to see the bird to be a tad higher than where it is..giving it more room on the bottom.

    Excellent image Chris! I like the flight angle, wing position, light, setting and complimentary BG.
