Yesterday morning I found this beautiful bird and one other who were walking along and feeding from the muddy bottom beneath the shallow water. Their back and forth sweeping motions stirred up lots of mud droplets. This is a small crop with some minor LR4 and Elements adjustments.

beautiful capture. The droplets from the bill really add to the image. Very good color and detail too.

Nice capture of an interesting pose, Wendell. Leg up, and the water drops add a lot to the image. Composition looks perfect and there is good detail. I wonder if the eye could be brought out just a little more. As is, there is just a hint of a catch light in the eye. Perhaps this could be enhanced by brightening the eye slightly?

Very nice, but the circular ripples betray the need for some CW rotation.
