    Here is another of our shore birds in the golden light. I wonder what you guys think.

    Lorant, I find it difficult to obtain a really striking image of the black-bellied plover. You've certainly proven that it can be done! A very nice background, great feather detail, and a killer head angle.

    I like the low angle, sharpness, HA and light. I find it a little too tight. Nice image Lorant.

    nice head turn and good details. I agree it's a bit tight, would leave room above and below for virtual feet!

    Nice to see one so deep in the water. Good low angle, colours, light. I'd add back some canvas top and left if you have it.

    Thank you for the comments and cropping suggestions. I do have more canvas in the original raw, so I can recompose that with more room above and to the left.

    Yes, Dan:-). What I meant is Pluvialis squatarola.
