    Default Belted Kingfisher

I've been trying to photograph the elusive Belted Kingfisher for at least a year. Finally one settled on a branch within range. Not sure if my image posted. Would someone please let me know.

    Nikon D3s, 500mm + 1.4x, 1/640, f/7.1, ISO 500.

    Thanks very much.http://500px.com/photo/29480935

    Hi Geoffry,

you can't insert a URL from a site like 500px. you need to upload to a site like Flickr or smug that allow image hosting, or a become a member and upload directly to BPN server.

Great image for sure, liking the detail and raised crest, smooth backdrop and all sits in the frame nicely
