    Singhgad Valley, march 2013

    First of this season ...Asain Paradise flycatcher according to my Knowledge this is one of the 3 long tails male in singhgad valley , i rate this male at number 2 because the biggest mal
    e has longer tail than this one. i will post the pic of the longest tail mail i seen in the valley very soon. Enjoy this magnificent bird.

    Beautiful bird! You were fortunate to get one on a clean perch that shows off his tail feathers. I might have tried stopping down to get the tail feathers in better focus.

    Very nice composition of this new to me species. Agree with Doug about the tail feathers. You can use a much higher ISO with the idx which gives you the opportunity to stop down. Of course that might have changed your background.

    I also agree that it would be nice to have the tail a bit more in focused. Ideally, I wish there's less shadow on the broader part of the tail. Other than that, beautiful perch shot!

    That's awesome man, great bird. I'm OK with the tail but one thing that grabs my attention is the "hotter" spot in the BG near the head.
