    Hello All,
Here's a big Bustard from Etosha, caught at the first light.

    Canon 7D, 300mm II 2.8 + 2x III, f/5.6, @ 1/250s, EC +1/3, ISO 200.

    C&C appreciated!

Nice warm light Shreyas and subject posture. Was this a failry large crop? Not sure if the eye could be sharpened just a tad as displayed.

Lovely colours in this Shreyas. I'd like just a tad more room all around,
    Cheers, Greg

    Shreyas:
Magnificent image with very nice color scheme.I like the details, crest and nice environment.
Needs more room around the bustard.

    Regards,
    Satish.

    Wonderful shot.
Great warm light, really like the pose, and the grasses around the bird.
Me personally I would add more room all around.
    Well done.

A very unique bird that is new to me. I love how the legs are placed close to the front of the body. The pose is just stunning. I don't think I speak for myself when I say that I'd love to see a lot more room around the bird (if you have it)

Love the warm light and moment captured, just not sure about the composition here.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and comments.
The image is not heavily cropped, and <20% of canvas was taken off from LHS as the frame was not working out well IMO. The bird was fairly close and for this shot, I just couldn't find any room. Also, this was the largest Bustard that I'd ever seen, so @ 600mm, it was literally on my face
I did have better luck later in the trip and shall post that shot soon.

Very cool pose here and I dig the habitat and warm colours. The top part should be easy to expand, and depending what you cropped off the left it could be placed at right too, but I realize it is not everyone's cup of tea to do such image manipulation.
