Default Broad billed sandpiper wing streatch

Saw a few Broad billed sandpipers on our trip to Jamnagar coast this january,
was able to get reasonably close to this one as it was busy feeding and came closer to me,

Made with Canon 7D with Canon 400mm f5.6L with Kenko 1.4x, ISO 1600, EV +0.7, Aperture Priority.
did not remove any shells and pebbles.

Excellent pose captured and your super low angle works very well. I love the graduated bg. The overall comp looks good, although just a bit more room below and to the right wouldn't hurt.
I typically do not touch naturally occurring sheen/highlights, but in this case, I would tame/remove the specular highlights on the bill.
It the bird was a bit more angled toward the viewer, that would be an improvement, although I'd take this in a heart beat.
I feel that this image could go a bit warmer.
Overall very, very nicely done and looking forward to more.

Beautiful full stretched wings pose and extreme low angle. I agree with the above comments about adding a bit more to the lower part if you have any and a little head turn towards you would have been better. Nice work.

Splendid wingstretch, and you got a very nice BG to isolate your subject on. I wish we could see more of the legs, and I agree about the sheen on the bill.

Beautiful wings and superb IQ, to me. I love the soft BG and FG. More of the legs would be nice but nothing you can do about it. I don't see a need for more on the bottom, and would actually take some off the right. It's getting close to the bird occupying half of the frame and nothing in the other half.
