This juvenile male saw a gopher close to us as we were shooting a Peregrine on a pole. Got a few nice frames as he came in before he plunged into the weeds. I got lucky and have a little gap between the beak and the right wing.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. Appreciated

excellent light and dynamic pose, I like the wing spread. the head can use a bit more sharpening.

Hi David, great concentrated stare on his prey, and I do like the inflight pose. Good to see the colours and detail on the RTH, and the hint of clouds add interest.

Very nice pose. The exposure looks good and the BG works.

I like what appears to be a hovering pose. Good comp and the BG has some subtle patterns that I like. I'd be tempted to lighten some of the shaded parts of the near wing and perhaps add some saturation to the eye and legs. Very nice overall.

Lovely flight image David - agree that the head could be sharper and I'd lighten the image a smidge, but overall great!
    Cheers, Greg

Nice action captured, but I don't think extra sharpening would help as it was probably not sharp to begin with. TFS

Thanks allot everyone for the comments. This shot did look a little soft on the head after I processed it for the web, then I sharpened it and posted. Looks like it needed a bit more . Thanks
