    Nice capture Ian. You did great with not only the exposure, but the depth of field also.

    Ian,

    You get it,..moreover you have developed a solid eye. To better balance the frame would like more on the right side. This is nice work shooting a pair is hard especially DoF and ensuring the two subjects interact in an interesting fashion. Nice work with the small crop; just curious were you standing or in a lower position; I like the shooting angle but could you get lower?

    Thanks, Jeff. I'll have to think about the room on the right. This is not much of a crop -- would need to add real-estate, I think (don't have the original with me).

    Unfortunately, can't get lower here. The Barnegat Jetty looks down on the water and I was down at jetty level when I shot this. There is no beach below the jetty to get down at water level, unfortunately.
