    Lovely colors and soft BG but there is no room at the bottom!!! Is this a crop??

    Maxis, It's a vertical crop but full height. No room at the bottom.

    Gayle,

    The bird and BG look great. The tightness at the bottom unbalances the image and makes it look like the spoonie is going to tumble off.

    Very nice capture. Love the colors and details on your bird. The background compliments your subject very well. Again, would have liked a wee bit more room on the bottom of frame...All in all, I like it very much...CONGRATS...:D

    Hi Gail !!! Just add a little more room and evict the other branches at left !!! Love the look down pose !!! Color feather reproduction seems great !!! You sure do well with NX !!!!!!!

    Nice pose and colors, subject is sharp and beautiful backgraound. I wish for a little room at the bottom.

    I'm on the road and working from my laptop so with some trepidation I removed the twigs and added room on the bottom. I may have to do this again when I return home.

    A sincere thank you to everyone for your comments and suggestions.

    I am on the road and working from my laptop so it is with some trepidation that I eliminated the twigs and added the room at the bottom suggested. What do you think?

    Hey Gayle...that is a great job of adding canvas and getting rid of the sticks from a laptop. Just a wonderful shot. A superb image to begin with and you only made it better. Great color and sharpness and a really interesting pose.
