    Once these birds return from Africa it's starting to feel like Spring again though with the freezing temperatures and snow we have had recently it does not yet feel that way right now..

    Wonderful image, Jeroen. It just pops from the green. Love the low shooting angle pose and the wind blown feathers.

    I love the sharpness and contrast, and the band of in-focus grass. You've achieved a very dreamy quality in the setting. The bird is balanced by the small bud, but I'd be tempted to experiment with taking a little off the right side.

    For my taste, the composition leans a little too much toward half-and-half, with the bird occupying half of the frame and not quite enough happening in the other half.

    Great low angle, head angle, sweet grasses and I love the wind blown plumage.
