    Hi Vikram, great find in busy city...Lovely habitat image...love the stare and those eyes...I wish the oof straw in front of bird was not there.....Where in Mumbai?

    Very nice image, Vikram. I like the stare,background and the perch is nice and natural for this bird. I saw them perching on a bail of dry grass before.

    Hi Vikram, I like this small in the frame comp, and just love those yellow eyes. I also like how you have placed the owl off centre, and I do like the BG too. If you are ok with it, I would remove the single blade of grass across the chest. Great find in such a large city.

    Those eyes just pop off the screen in this frame! Very attention-getting. I could see this one composed as a pano...not sure that all that space up top is adding much. Nice work!

    Amazing eyes and the owl really does stand out. My first thoughts were that the NR in the BG and shapening of the bird were both a little heavy making it look unnatural but when I scrolled down to crop as a pan like Grace suggested, it looked much better to me with not so much of the bg over powering the image.

    i agree with cropping from the top -- nothing happening up there. The "rule of thirds" only works some of the time.

    Otherwise, wonderful!! Love the eyes!
