Default Great Spotted Cuckoo up close

From yesterday late afternoon in the meadow. A pair were catching caterpillars on the track an allowed fairly close approach.
Light was only fair and had to twist myself out of car window. Used layers to adjust brightness etc. HA not perfect but I rather like the angle of the bird on the track.

    This is nice Richard.
The light helped you as it kept the whites nicely exposed.
Nice POV although lower would have been better.
I only wish for a better head turn,
    Gail

Nice bird and good exposure...Gail already pointed out things that would have helped this image.

Head angle and Ferrari aside lol lol this looks pretty good, I can relate well to becoming a contortionist trying to get shots from ones car window. An an interesting subject as well, never seen one of these before now and like his/her posture...just add a little more sharpening to the head
