    Photographed this morning while walking the dogs in Alley Pond Park, Queens, NYC with the 1DIII-400L 5.6-iso800-f5.6-1/8000

    Now that is a big crop! I can understand wanting to photograph this guy as any sighting of a raptor is exciting, but the IQ is showing signs of crop stress though. Fortunately we can clearly see that this is not a Red-tailed Hawk, definitely a young accipiter (brown plumage and yellow eye)...my first thought was Cooper's but Goshawk is probably it.
