    EOS 1D Mk IV, 500mm f/4L IS + 1.4xII, 1/1600, f/8, ISO 800
Photographed 2 summers ago on the north shore of Massachusetts.

There are already a few reports of piping plovers back on New England beaches.
Looking forward to spending more time with one of my favorite subjects soon!

The First thing when i saw this and popped in my mind was "Cute "
I love the expression, the details and low level perspective make it stand out

Lovely image of a really cute chick with a priceless expression. Great techs, good light, and great BG. I wonder if this would also work as a vertical...but it's great as is. TFS!

All I can do is stare at the cute chick. Well done!
If there is any room for improvement, perhaps toning down/removing the dark area in upper left BG?

Great low angle. I love the crop. I think if it were mine I would remove that dark blotch on the left. This little guy is a winner.

This one made me smile so you get a 10 out of 10 for that!
The squinty, slanty eyes are wonderful.
I like your composition and would just tone down the darker spot in LUC and the splotches by the feet,

This is one example when closed eyes really help make the image. The pose, background, cute expression...one great shot!

Extra cute, extra sweet, and extra clean comp. I actually like the closed eyes here!

Love seeing him small in the frame since b/c you get the feel for how small and fragile these chicks actually are. Love the low angle, pose and closed eyes.

lol....cute factor 10.....oh to be able to sleep like that. Lovley isolation from surrounds and sharp detail, I'm a little distracted by the darker patch in the upper left backdrop though...easy to remove

Off the charts cute. Perfectly designed and executed. Only thing I can think of is to get rid of the darker spots/blotches around the legs.
    Excellent work, Mike.
