Captured this image in winter of 2012. This was shot near Pune (India). It was a sunny after noon when I was just sitting on the banks of river and these gulls suddenly started fishing very close to me. It was a wonderful experience to watch them catching fishes.

I would be thrilled to capture this so sharply! Superb aim and timing.

I'm just wondering if the angle of the water is slightly off? Possibly needs a little lift on the right hand side?
    Just my opinion of course

    Hey nice one here
the settings looks like Bhigwan on Pune Sholapur road,
in terms of composition i may keep the frame from the splash just behind the bird and not both the splashes, and add some more of canvas to the right
The timing on the image is amazing,

Very nice catch by you and the gull! I'd like to see a bit more canvas in front too, but it's nice as is.

Thanks to every one for critic and comments...
I thought of adding the canvas on right but there is ripples around the splashes which would be disturbed by adding canvas... so I avoided it. Is there any way we can handle this in post processing?

Great timing, super sharp as well and like seeing the birds eye as well......I also think it could do with a little more room to the right but understand what you say about disturbing the ripples...maybe possible to add canvas and fade out the ripples so they are not so obvious ?

Superb action image! Would be nice for more space on the right, but I can see how that would be pretty difficult. Love the intesnsity here.
