A "common" Kingfisher this time and shot in my own country (The Netherlands) instead of in Southern Africa like my last post..
These beauties have been a project for me that's been running for over 10 years now and with the harsh winters we have had over the past few years their numbers are declining. In 2009 we had approx. 1200 of them in our small country and this year numbers will most likely be around 100-200 of them so let's hope i will be able to find me another pair to follow this Spring..
