Here's another of my favorite Bald Eagle shots from Alan Murphy's Alaska workshop. I love the falling snow in this frame.

Beautiful frame, Doug. Topside view with the fanned tail is sweet. Planning on printing this? Bet is would look superb.

Love this shot! The focussed gaze and sharp head and beak are super! Really like the snow too.

    Is it a 300 f2,8 or does canon have a 300 f1,8 lens?

One of the best Bald Eagle images I have ever seen so far, Doug. It is a great combination of flight pose and that amazing background.

    This is gorgeous Doug.
    The BG is terrific.
I wish we had something like that in Nova Scotia.
Love the topside view and the snow,
    Gail

What a superb image and one of the best. It is a pitty that the tail feathers do not show more but that is just a minor nit.... very well done!

Incredible! First impression -- that could almost be a super-telephoto of the Milky Way behind the bird!

Stunning. This tops them all. Perfect flight angle, handsome diagonal comp, and the snow looks like a galaxy. Justifiably one of your favorites -- mine too.
