Wild Turkey. I did lots of work on this one. Had to add bottom canvas and the left foot, the tip of the beard and the eye shine. I took advantage of the sale on Nik this morning, so I used detail extractor on the bird, along with a little topaz denoise and usm. I used a surface blur on the bg. Does this look over worked? C&C welcome.

Nice close-up, and the raised foot adds a bit of dynamics here. Great colours shining off the plumage, and the details look very good. An even lower angle, only if possible of course, would have helped with the BG IMO, and comp-wise I'm not a fan of the back skimming the top so I would crop down enough to hide the gap in ULC. Excellent processing with the added canvas and foot/beard tip.

A clear image with a great pose. I agree to crop a little tighter on the top. Good job processing the photo.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I agree, here's a crop from the top. I also toned down a few of the hot leaves in the bg.

Wonderful detail! Doesn't look over processed to me, but then I've become addicted to Detail Extractor.
