Hello, looking through some older photos and thought I would share this shot of a White Ibis coming in for a landing.

Thanks for looking and do appreciate the comments.

    Gary:

The pose is great with extended wings, feet, and that bill. Drops add. He really jumps off the screen, with good sep. from the BG.

Because of his angle of flight, I could see a sliver more on right and below, but works well as posted.

    I miss those Florida birds!

    Cheers

    Randy

Gary, I think this is sensational. The dangling feet, pulled back wings, head angle drop bill and water drops all against a pleasing BG makes for a very beautiful and pleasing image!

Fabulous landing pose with great flight angle and head angle. Drops add to the image. I'd love to see just a slivver off the left and added to the right. And I might be tempted to desaturate the red channel a little, even though I know these birds can look pretty vivid.

Excellent pose in great light, Gary. Love those droplets and the layered bg. As Randy said, this one jumps off the screen.
I'd embed an sRGB profile in the image.

Dynamic colors Gary, wonderful exposure and ever so clear on the eye, loving the layered backdrop and droplets from the bill.

Maybe a little more canvas bottom and right would improve and possibly a run of noise reduction on backdrop only

    Gorgeous catch!!

I'd go with a little CW rotation to level the horizon, and back off the red channel a bit.

Light quality is awesome...Love the bit of land or warm color in between the cooler colors of the fg and bg.
Technical aspects of the image rock.
    Great photograph.
