Alfred. Nice action PJ. This reminds me of my first trip to the Anhinga trail, back in 1986. Back then there was only a small rope fence between part of the sidewalk and the grass where the gators were sunning. I haven't visited recently. Anyway, a foreign "tourist" stepped over the rope with his P&S camera for a closeup. We were quick to bark at him to get out of there! And he did, but he wasn't happy about it. We told him the danger that he had been in and that the gator "a 7 footer" could have grabbed him and pulled him into the water! His reply was "Well, if they are dangerous, then why are they here?" WOW. I still haven't gotten over that one!

As usual your timing was right on Alfred. I still wonderf at the mentally of some of the tourists. They just don't get it. Especially parents with young childfren !!!!! Glad he was rescued.
