Hi Peter, sorry but it's really not working for me.
The detail, depth, clarity and sharpness does not come through on this image. The highlights although not blown are distracting and require some form of toning down. Peter this is polls apart from the very high standard you normally present and from what a lot of us have learnt from IMHO, sorry buddy.Knowing the high IQ you normally present perhaps this is not the image you intended to upload?

Unfortunately I agree with Steve, as I initially thought I might just be tired when I first saw this last night. The fine detail that I've grown to love in your work is absent here, and it even seems like critical focus was on the horns with the face seeming uncharacteristically soft?![]()
I like the b&w idea but have to agre with others on the IQ... sorry

I agree with above the face looks flat and it just doesnt quit work, not sure it would take much to turn it around, like the composition
