Agree, the "pose" of the fish head is a nice detail. The bird rocks too and I like your vertical presentation.

I too, like the vertical comp and very nice exposure.
The white head still pops from the white snow, tough to get right.
    Nice work.

ha ha to the fish expression! I like the full up-swing of the wings, and you did well going to a vertical presentation here.

I like the pose and the fish is a great addition, Gail.
As Arash mentioned, the head looks hot. It has values as high as 252. Theexposure of the dark area is excellent.
Linear burning of the head or even the snow, or other ways of darkening, would improve the image IMO.

Another beauty, Gail. Have you trained this guy to fly back and forth while you snap away? Great wing position, and vertical comp; and of course the fish.

Another super image Gail, I like it very much love the pose and the fish and I suspect he might have been saying a little bit more then "put me down!". I think the bill, part of the neck, a little bit of the upper surface of the tail and the feet are a little bit too bright, other than that first class. I like the crop I also think a landscape would look good.

Excellent flight pose Gail! I might crop out the dark snow at the bottom of the frame.
