Few things beat exploring the forests of Mana Pools on foot. This photo was taken at close range on a walking safari.
I can't wait to go back there in July...

Hi Morkel - nice wide view. A little surprised that you went with 5.6 for such a wide and deep scene here. Was it just a matter of insufficient light to comfortably shoot stopped down a bit more? Overall, I like the comp with the tall trees in the bg filling the frame and the one buff facing you just off center. It seems to have a slight cyan cast to me and to be a bit flatter than your usual posts.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Lovely typical Mana scene Morkel, colours look good to me and image well exposed with good detail

    Hi Morkel,

lovely image of the big ones. Mana is on the list of mine
I love the light you have got in this image. To bad that quite a few of them turned their head to the BG or looked away! Well, we cannot have everything

    Ciao

    Thanks for your feedback, folks.

Rachel - I'll play a bit with tweaking the contrast a bit selectively
