interesting bird and perch. the colors work well together here as well.

My first thought when I saw this was to take some off the RHS or consider a vertical.
The red eye looks great. Exposure and the blacks look great.
The perch is very different and a bit overpowering-especially the part behind the head.

nice pose and sharp details. A few issues here

-shooting angle is a bit too steep

-The dead leaf behind the bird is distracting

-the side light has caused some shadows with little detail

TFS, hopefully you will see him again on a better perch. keep up the good work
