I took this image of the Micanopy Cemetery last June during a rainstorm, through the windshield at f/9, .8 sec. to capture some of the sheets of rain on the windshield. I made minor tweaks to blacks and vibrance in LR.

What a great idea. And a marvelous result. The colors are nice in their own right but, also, just perfect for the scene.

    Nice image and application Cheryl.

I do wonder about the blurred area in the ULC, as the rest of the image is not really blurred. It might just be the branches that make the effect, but it seems a little out of place. I might have cropped that area a little. Y...I...Y...V...

    But nice whatever.

Hey Cheryl, You know that I love your spirit and your inspirational images but this one does not work for me at all. Kudos for trying something different and for capturing the dreary mood.

The rain and subdued colors make this a moody image appropriate for the subject matter.

Thanks for your comments. I think "Awash in Tears" describes the scene accurately and emotionally.

    Very fitting. Absolutely.
