White Tailed Kite Update

after one month since I first saw this pair of WTK building nest, I was surprised to see that the female kite is still building nest and not sitting on eggs yet. They mated almost 2 weeks ago.

Increased exposure by 0.5 EV in LR4 and increase the Dark and Shadow levels to brighten the areas under the wings.

Very nice image. Bird's position seems well balanced with the trees in the right lower area. Exposure looks correct.

PS Would not be too surprised. Have observed similar behavior in some more familiar mammal species as well...
