    These guys normally only have their crest raised when they first land or they are get a fright. This one had just landed in front of me and I was had on a few seconds to capture this before the bird started feeding.

    Nice pose Michael! BG really compliments the bird. A little more canvas on the right would strengthen the image in my opinion.

    Sweet bird and do love the raised crest Michael !!! Sure wish he had turned just a bit There photo skills are never up to what we want !!!!!:)

    Agree with Doug on more room to the other right !!!! :D:cool:

    Head angle a little off here, not by much. Great pose, and the exposure is perfect.

    Great details, exposure control and the raised crest makes this one for me. I might run some NR on the BG.

    Wonderful crest on a good looking bird. More room in front of the bird and a little head turn would take this over the top.

    Great image Michael, agreed with the head angle, but other than that looks fine to me. Cheeky Aussie bird!
