    Default Looking Back

This is a Eurasian Spoonbill , this image was not very early in the morning, more towards 10 am which normally gives harsh light over water

Bird was co-operative and gave me time to photograph as the boat passed by it .

    Canon 5D MIII , 400 f2.8 L IS, 2x tc

    ISO 800, f 7.1 , 1/4000

I would have liked a bit more space at the bottom however with the distance i was at i couldn't manage it.
    Critiques and comments are welcome.

Excellent exposure control and nice details in the white. Love the looking back pose and the fact that you can see the colour of the eye.
Nice background and the bird pops. Great work, Vishal. Yes, a little more room at the bottom would have been better but good as is.

Sweet bird, killer pose, perfect exposure and details. Love the bg as well.
Feels a bit tight; would give it more room if possible, especially at the bottom of the frame.
    Nice work Vishal.

This is just superb, oozes quality. I f you want a little more at the base add canvas/recrop and either content aware of clone, probably the latter as content aware would more than likely appear distorted.

Beautiful image with terrific detail. The light does not look too harsh to me, and great exposure with good control of the whites. Love the BG as the bird really pops. Very well done!

You've handled the whites perfectly, and you waited for a nice head turn. Details look nice too. Vetical comp was a no-brainer...and I agree with your self-critique about room at bottom. I would also either eliminate or tone down the brighter small streak (twig?) bewteen the leg and right edge. Stunning red eye!
