    WOW Frank,
Love everything about this- light, crossed bills, low POV, IQ.
You name it, I love it!
    Congrats on a beautiful image,

    Frank:

Intimate moment captured well, excellent colors, pose. I might try a version cropped slightly tighter top, bottom and left, but very well done as posted.

    Cheers

Lovely moment. Great background and both birds sharp plus perfect exposure. Nice to see spring has arrived somewhere.

Frank I am jealous, so far I haven't managed any grebes this year let alone a shot so splendid as this one, absolutely super love the pose and the colours. The low angle suited and the composition are suited admirably.

Excellent timing, perfect execution. You're having a blockbuster season with this species and I've enjoyed every one of the images you've shared of these beautiful birds. TFS and keep them coming.
I agree with Randy that a slightly tighter crop might work well to showcase the interaction.

Exceptional image Frank! Everything came together for you; interaction, light, DOF, sharpness, and shooting angle. I do agree with Randy's crop suggestion though.
