    Default Male House Finch

Image created on March 22 2013. Weather was heavy overcast. I used a flash set at -2/3 for some fill.

    Camera-Canon 7D
    Lens-Canon 400mm f/5.6L
Image-400mm at f/8.0 with an ISO of 400 at 1/250 sec.
Used PS for some light perch and beak clean up. Shadows/Highlights, Levels, Curves, Selective Color, Unsharp Mask at 150%.

Taken at my set up this afternoon late.
    C & C always welcome!

Good exposure, good eye contact. Sharpness is there as well. I also like the smooth background. I would definitely crop-off at least 1/4, if not 1/3 of the image at the top. Too much empty space there.

Michael, this is a nice capture. I agree with the above comments as well. Taking some of the top will strengthen this image IMO.

Thank you both for the comments/suggestions, they are much appreciated! I will start cropping closer in the future.
