    Default Perplexed Ringneck ...

    ...decided to investigate the camo cover on the bank of Oakland Lake in Queens NY on March 16th.
    Shot with 1DsIII - 400L 5.6 - 1.4xII - 580exII - Better Beamer - iso800 - f8 - 1/323 - Jobu Jr 2.

    Very perplexed! Nice timing with this shot. I think you did a great job with the exposure, as I see fine detail in the black feathers.

    I do find the crop a bit ackward, as I want to slide down to see more of the bird. It also looks like the focus wasn't spot on (the eyes) and I think a smaller aperture may have helped to extend the dof since you were so close.

    i like the details here, seems you got too close you you
    The pose you have presented is very unique , i might have loved to see the full bird but this is amazing
