    Default Flight of the Spotbill

I was out to the waterbody to see if the migrants were there or moved , most of the migrants are out.
The spotbilled ducks are our local duck , so decided to try my hand at making a few images of these locals

Hi Vishal, love the light quality in this, together with the overall IQ. Interesting colours and detail on and around the beak, and I feel you have the sharpness spot on. Having the wings fully raised would have put this up a few notches - but you knew that already.

Vishal, very nice indeed. Terrific IQ and subject angle. Loved the open bill. I know these aren't easy to photograph in Pune. Well done.

Beautiful quality and colours. I like the image just as it is, but I attach an alternative for your consideration, I made a curves adjustment and applied a little more selective sharpening to the bird and then a tad more to the wings.

Great shot. This duck looks great and the flight shot has a nice composition. The open beak adds interest. Jonathan's version is an improvement.

Hi Vishal. I like the flight pose and the open bill is a big plus. Nice comp and sharpness too. I think Jonathan's suggestions are worth considering and you might also consider adding a few points to the blacks to see if that gives the image more snap. You have a very strong image here and a couple minor tweaks could make it even better!
