    I always like to know where people live, for example USA, Canada, India and so on. It is educational in a sense that you can relate the bird being posted here to a part of the world. But it is only me I guess.
    The picture looks pretty good to me. I like the pose, open beak, background and composition.

    Agree with Karl's comments above. The composition and BG are good. There is great detail in the feathers except surrounding the eye. The only thing I would change is to lighten the are of the eye slightly (not so far that it looks unnatural). It would have been nice to have a more obvious catch-light in the eye, perhaps with a slight head turn that might have happened. I like the open beak. Other than that, well done.

    Hi Rezi, nothing wrong with the IQ from your compact camera. You have captured a perfect angled pose, pretty well exposed on the darker plumage for what you have. The open beak adds interest, and just love the BG. Comp wise, if you keep the horizontal, I would move the vulture a little more into the frame, so he sits in the right hand third of the image. The other alternative, due to the pose, you could create a vertical comp.
