    Taken at Texel, NL last weekend:

    Great find, angle and eye contact. It looks a bit soft on my monitor and please keep in mind that the maximum posting size is 800 pixels.

    Cool looking bird, but it looks to me like the focus is on the reeds.

    I wish the eye was better lit. What a neat plumage this guy has, especially on the head!! The image feels like it could use a very slight CCW rotation.
