    Default Ephemeral Reflection

Reflection of restaurant building in the lake at sunset, turned upright and heavily cropped to show details. I used Topaz Adjust, Topaz Simplify, light dose of Oil Paint, and 2 textures. Edge added with PhotoFrame and lowered opacity so it wouldn't be too dark.

Well seen, Judy! I like this a lot. Wonderful graphic quality and neat trick to flip it. The specks in the top blue remind me of stars.

Love the color palette and graphic design. Good eye in seeing the potential in the reflection.

I wish the edge of the sign and the vertical orange section weren't so close to the center of the image, but capturing and flipping the reflection was a great idea. Your use of Simplify added a lot to the appeal of the image. The colors work well together, too.

Thanks Steve and Gary! Dennis, I tried a longer crop but the wide view at 1024 px cut out too much detail that I wanted to keep, but I agree with your assessment and thank you for the comment!

This is a version without "stars" sky texture and with 2 Swoon the Moon textures. I like both versions...

Judy, I like the graphic, geometric look to this and the rich blues and earthy tones. I think I prefer Version 2 but both are nice and well-seen.

I like the second one better, too. The larger light spots in the sky (water) seem to better complement the look of the image. I also prefer its more subtle vignette.

Thanks Cheryl and Paul. Dennis, I also think v. 2 is the better one.
