Excellent image, Freddy! I like the details, pose, head angle and complementing BG. I'd love to see this species sometime.

Nice image, nice perch & BG, just a touch too centered.
I like it. the perch is very suited for this bird. There is a dust spot to the right of the right wing you might fix.
I think I need to see an eye doctor because I do no see a dust spot lol. Nice capture bg lighting and sharpness first rate.
Nice as presented! Perhaps a slight saturation boost. If memory serves me, the reds are a little more prominent.

Hard to do any better than this! The background is so complimentary of the bird colors and the light shining in the eye makes it really stand out. Big time winner!
This reminds me very much of your last post which was a quail. Both have very similar grey "look and feel". Was it just luck or are you aiming for this kind of look?

A very fine image indeed: sharp, great exposure control with those delicate reds and greys, and I like the sense of depth to the image, not to mention pose and background.Well done Freddy.
