I was out shooting in the Stick Marsh, near Vero Beach, FL yesterday in some really bad light. I badly under ex[osed the image, but thought it was worth trying to resurrect with PS. I think the result was worth the effort. I would love all thoughts about it and was worth saving. Shooting data: Nikon D4, Nikon 300 mm f/2.8, 1/5000 sec @ f/3.5, ISO-1250.

Very good timing and pose, super colours. There is something on the head around the eye - not sure but have you possibly been cloning around there, it looks a little smudged(??), the feet also look a little indistinct in parts. Other than that I think you did a good job.

Very dynamic pose here, and the pinks you got look very good. The near wing looks great! I'd consider selectively lightening and saturating the iris to enhance that beautiful eye they have, and to me it looks like you applied NR to the subject as it looks a little too smooth...

I will agree that this one is worth saving. Love the wing position and composition. It does look like you have applied a lot of noise reduction on the bird and maybe if you applied less and sharpened the bird it might improve it some.
