I thought I'd post something a little different. Taken from a boat in Walvis Bay, Namibia.

    Canon 5D3
    70-200 II @ 115mm
    1/500
    f7.1
    ISO 400
HH from moving boat, cropped slightly from all sides except top, levels, curves, selective dodging, burning and color adjustments, sharpened in CS5.

    C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks,

    Rachel

    Hi Rachel,

lovely image. I didn't do the boat tour when I have been there. I assume there was no way to get more down with the camera!
I like it very much that the seals "swims" into the image, that looks great, IMHO
The sharpness and details are for me on the dot, might a little tad more sharpening for the eye

    I see what I have missed :))

    Ciao

Thanks Anette, yes, it was not possible to get any lower. He was only about 3 meters away and I was leaning through the side rails of the boat. The boat cruise was fun and we had great weather for it. Plus the oysters and other seafood they served were delicious.

    Thanks again,
    Rachel

The eye contact makes it work very well for me.
The angle is fine for me, it is the way we normally see them.
    Water is terrific.
