I did not know there was such a day...and as a sparrow admirer I must circle this day on my future calendars!! I like the feeding behaviour and even though the fed bird is angled away I still like your position relative to them. I'm OK with the resulting black BG you gave the image, but in some spots the masking is evident around the subjects. I would also darken the blacks on the sparrows.

    Happy Sparrow Day 2013!!

Good to see the behaviour it makes for an interesting shot, I get the impression the plane of focus is not quite ideal, the bird on the left appears to be a bit sharper than the one on the right. I would increase the contrast a tad on the birds probably after lowering the bightness a little, using mid point in curves would probably do the trick.

Excellent interaction captured, Satish. The low angle gives an intimate view and also nullifies the impact of the perch. Bg works well.
The birds appear a bit washed out. Good suggestions above to fix that.

Hi Satish, I wasnt aware of this day either. Good feeding behaviour between the two sparrows, and a good call on darkening the BG. To have the BG equal in tone, you could mask the sparrows and then darken the BG in various ways. I agree, adding a touch of contrast to the sparrows will make them pop. Still, a well worked out image.

The contrast on the birds is much better now.
