    Pretty colors, nice background, and the upward glance is cute. I would smooth the background in the lower left corner a bit and did you clone the end of the perch? It looks a bit unnatural. An image worthy of a bit more tweaking.

    This probably doesn't comply with the often discussed best head angle.....but BAH !!!....the angle of sight on this image is extra good love that inquisitive pose

    Very nice shot Joe, sharp, wonderful contrasting color on the bird with the smooth and subtle colored backdrop.....absolutely enviable
