    Default Red-tailed Hawk.

    I took this shot yesterday afternoon I was lucky as I kept the lens on the bird as long as my arm could handle it.
    Eventually it took off and I managed to click forteen frames. This is the fourth. ( Angle became bad after nine.)
    Some blur applied to the bg.

    Excellent image Karl! I like the sharpness, details, flight angle and red tail. Beak just clears the far wing nicely. I might place the hawk a little higher in the frame but still a beauty as presented.

    Very nice shot Karl.
    I like the wing position and the BG looks good.
    Might wish for a better HA but still nice as presented,

    Anticipating as to which direction the bird will fly is the name of the game. (head angle)
    I'm getting better of it but it is not a foolproof science (wind direction, light direction and the rest).

    nice BG and wing positions. it's a handsome hawk. I'm OK with the HA but the head looks a bit soft to me
