One of the frustrations of Upper Antelope Canyon (Page, Ariz.) is the sheer number of people coming through. This image was completely unintentional but I'm actually thrilled with the way it turned out simply as a means of describing what it can be like in there!!!
Lana,
It was essentially an accidental image. I had framed it up when there were no people in sight, but as soon as I tripped the shutter, this guy in a red t-shirt started walking through, and then snapped a photo of his own. I'm just lucky that he was still in the frame when he got out his point-and-shoot!
Your image makes the point well. I hate people being in any of my images. Or even near me! Takes a lot a of patience, planning and luck in there. I once walked in there and a photo group was lined up to shoot a light shaft, while the leader was ahead stopping anyone else from entering that room. I just parked myself right next to them and easily made the image!
