This image was created in Nove, 2012. Full frame, cropped for composition and sharpened.
I am not sure about composition, since there is no room for him below. Tried vertical composition by adding canvas both on top and bottom.

    ISO: 3200, 1/2000, F: 6.3.Evaluating metering. Manual mode. 550D, 400mm.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards.

Nice frame , i like the horizontal compo as i feel the vertical gives it very little space.
The action is very nicely captured, even the little feet are showing, nice sharpness and the sky is blue , nicely done
wish the other wing was visible however we just cant get it all in wildlife can we

Satish - well caught, good exposure and details. I like both crops but if it were the portrait version I would make it a little looser, i.e. a bit more space on the left and just a tad on the right.

Great capture Satish, these guys are fast and difficult to get with the right HA, wind position. But you did well here. I agree with Jon that the vertical comp although a bit looser framing would be better.

Very tricky comp but I think I like the horizontal better.
Good IQ and classic hovering pose.

I like the horiz OP myself since it feels more roomy to me. I think because the head is so high up I find myself not needing more room at the bottom. I do wish we could see the other wing but getting this close makes up for that for me.

    Hi Satish,
Excellent quality considering the high ISO. Did you do any NR at all? What did you use?
Awesome bird. Prefer the horizontal comp. Wish the other wing was visible, but nice as is.

Hi Satish, Typical hovering pose from a Pied, and well exposed, especially looking up into the sky. I prefer your OP.

Thank you very much for your feed back and comments.

Sidharth: I have done only basic editing in CS5 and no NR.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Nice howering pose captured, Satish. A fully stretched wing position would have been better but you should be happy with this one too.
