    Default Australian Magpie

This is one of our most common, yet iconic birds. I thought the equally popular Aussie native plant, the Kangaroo Paw would make a nice combo with the bird.

Wonderful frame here, the green bg is nicely complimented by the red/pink flowers , the bird is sharp and nicely exposed, very nicely done

Hi Greg, I like the setting here, and yes, you have exposed the Magpie nicely. Good DOF in the overall image, and just love the inquisitive pose.

Beautiful bird excellent pose and detail.
The only reservation I have is the background green, it shouts at me, I would desaturate and maybe lower the brightness just a tad.

Beautiful portrait. Did you call the bird in at all? So perfectly posed and I love that head tilt towards you, gives a sense of its personality. This is eye candy for sure.

Sweet setup, excellent pose and I especially love how that big foot is wrapping around the forked perch. Could be just my monitor, but I'd add a couple points of black to the blacks.
    Nice work!
