Lovely head angle here, full front on makes it really **** impressive here, eyes are focused and that beak looks fantastic
I am not sure however since i find the tail fanned on the left of the frame i may like a bit more room on the right , just a thought .
Amazing execution here, HQ looks amazing

good points, I agree with you Vishal, that's how I cropped the large version. I cropped this one a bit tighter to show the details better.

Another awesome capture! Different but impressive wing position. I like the position of his head. Very minor nit is the small bright spot in the BG just above his left wing...easy fix if you choose. Very nice job a usual.

    Arash:

Very dynamic pose, intense eye contact/stare, strong seasonal and environmental feel. Crop works for me.

    Cheers

That particular area we photographed at was the best one, I love the forest / marsh look and feel to the images obtained there. The cattails in the BG make this very interesting. Intense stare from the owl. I agree you could fill in that brighter spot above the wing.

Yet another killer image. All of these are great, and each has its special points. I love the hint of marshy habitat here, and the awesome size of those splayed-out primaries. And of course your superb techs.

Arash you sure did what you do best on this trip as well. Another excellent image. I really like the view of the wings from this angle and of course that determined expression.
