Super shot Chris, I like the pose and the perch, the background is equally good. The base of the perch looks a little smudged, personal choice you could clean it up a bit or crop it a little shorter. The owl looks good I would have a look with a tad more sharpening, it may not need it but if you check out the facial disks I suspect there is a little more detail to reveal.
Nice one here, i completely agree with Jonathan's suggestion above
Wonderful image here
This is a unique looking Barn Owl. Very light in color and it has very little golden color on the chest and the facial disc. I can see why you called it a ghost. Great perch, after the smudge is removed, and the BG is very nice. Well done
Jonathan gave you all the good advices on this one, Chris.
Hi Chris, I like the slight angled pose of the owl, together with the high placement in the frame. Sweet BG, and if anything, I would take a bit off the RHS.
Main fault I can see is it's not my image.
Lovely shot, nicely isolated from backdrop....I'd suggest a tad more sharpening and crop off the lower portion of the stick

great pose, details, BG, perch and nice light. I agree with a bit more sharpening.

I love to see this species perched like this! Nice comp, perch, BG. I agree a bit more sharpening to get the fine details out would be good, and that smudgy area at the bottom of the perch is a bit of an attention grabber. The whites look great!
great perch, setting and BG here.. loved it.
Thanks everybody for looking and comments,I did not mind the blured grasses in the bottom of the perch, but I have removedthem and sharrpened some more, and has improved image thanks.
